North Korea ‘Probably’ Has Nuclear Missile Capability, Pentagon Spy Agency Says.

So in case you aren’t able to translate the “intel-ese” in this particular article, it is saying that North Korea has detonated a nuclear bomb (badly) and had missiles (that malfunctioned in at least one of their recent tests) which means that we have to assume (just to be safe) they they might have figured how to put them both together.  Except that, from what I understand based upon a visit to the Nuclear Museum in Albuquerque, putting a nuclear warhead on a missile is not twice as difficult, but exponentially more difficult.  And they even admit that if they DID have these missiles, they are probably going to be pretty ineffective, which is why we haven’t been taking them very seriously as far as their threat to bomb the US Motherland.  Japan and South Korea might need to be more concerned though (which they sort of are).   But anyone who can read between the lines here can tell that the entire thing is one big “we don’t really know” from the analysts in question.  If you want to know more, this article has a good analysis, what I said but longer: http://www.brookings.edu/blogs/up-front/posts/2013/04/15-north-korea-nuclear-missiles-pifer
